Of quizes and illness.

Second one done with my quiz. I rock. :) And that's after I spent a long time looking at one particular question which threatened to triumph over me! I finished early enough that I was given 20 minutes to go and play however I wanted before returning like a good little student to listen to lecture.

Sorry. . done gloating. I'm just on a high of finishing the first quiz for this class and not being in class (I'm really not enjoying class though the material is good).

In other news, for any of you that were not already aware, I've been sick for a while. Since June. My first symptoms showed up June 12th. I know this because it scared be to be becoming sick right before my two week class on financial management. I'm still sick. I've been sick since then. I've been to the health center twice and after the second time I got blood drawn. Woo! They did normal CBC blood tests but also tested me for mono and pertussis (AKA "whooping cough"). My first results came back last Monday. I was negative for Mono and my hematocrit was low. Big Deal. It's always low. The nurse continued to chastise me for my poor eating habits and iron levels. The pertussis test went to the state labs, so I didn't get results with the rest of them. Instead I got a phone call Friday afternoon from the Boston health department telling me that I tested positive. Joy. So I am officially recovering from whooping cough. I'm definitely better but I think it's probably going to be slow. My body is still angry with me from the coughing.

Anything else for me to discuss? Um. . . can't take time off from school. Would totally mess with financial aid. Applying for another internship (this one in Zambia). Hoping to find a place whose rent is less than what I make in 88 work-hours. (or perhaps be in Zambia!) I watched Bridge to Terabithia last night. I cried. That was, however, expected. It was good and I enjoyed it.

So yeah. Life's been lifelike.
