Long time!
I admit it, it's been a long time. A month, in fact. I've not posted since before I moved. Much has happened in the last month, I suppose. It's hard to remember.
Moving was chaotic. It wasn't too bad, but I am in debt to Lauren and Mario for being so helpful in moving my stuff about three miles. The new place is glorious. I love it. It's the second floor of a two family home. Three bedroom (originally 2 bedroom, one dining room, probably), one bath. Kitchen and heat are gas, two porches, living room. . . Hard wood floors, lovely roommates. It has really good vibes. Oh, and I have a walk in closet. It's amazing to go from having essentially no closet to having one that needs its own light source. (seriously. . I've been hunting for clothing via flashlight. I'm thinking of maybe getting those push lights they advertise on tv)
So. . Labor Day was fun. There was a party out in Lowell at Lauren and Mario's which was fun. I was social and we got to play Uno, which I tend to enjoy. (Seriously, why don't we play more Uno?) It was really fun. I was impressed with myself and my socialness.
Directly following Labor Day was my first day of class! Woo! My classes are pretty lovely. I'm enjoying them for the most part, though I'm beginning to feel the pressure of the many credits and lots of work. I've got super lots to do for the next week (but then I get to go home!). I've got to plan a presentation with a partner and edit a chapter of our electronic text book . . . do a SAS comprehensive project. . Propose and begin planning my project for my Reproductive Health class. . . Hmm. . . I guess I have nothing pressing for my survey methods class. But I've also got work and I need to get ready to travel and my room still needs more organizing (I'm missing a textbook, somehow). There's also a board meeting and planning and . . and . . and . . !
Ooh. . and I went to a party last Saturday. I was social. Go me. :)
I'm sure that there were other things I'd been thinking of mentioning but I can't think of it right now.
