Back in Boston
I'm back in Boston. I'm exhausted and will be heading to bed shortly. What's new, you ask? Well. . . we made it to Seatac, after getting lost at the mall in search of food to feed me before my flight. I arrived at my gate just in time for pre-boarding, which was pretty awesome, so little time to wait (unlike my trip west. . ). On my happy train I slept maybe one wink. Fifteen minutes, maybe. Now granted, it's not THAT long of a flight, just under 5 hours, but I still could have used some sleep. I just couldn't get comfortable. I'd forgotten that the row in front of the exit row doesn't get to recline, so life wasn't very comfortable. Luckily, the two seats next to me (TWO!) were empty so I did stretch out some, while remaining safely buckled in.
So, a plane, bus, two light rail trains and another bus later I arrived home. Woo! It seems that my sandwich shop has closed! I was super bummed to see the paper in the windows and a new "coming soon" sign, though I'm still hopeful because I've previously seen another Pizza, Etc at Oak Square, just in another area, so maybe they were moving from one to the other and finally consolidated.
My room did not magically clean itself in my absence. I'm kind of saddened by that sort of behavior but I suppose I can deal with it.
Oh! The other big deal. So. . there's not really any snow here now, just a few random patches and in some places what's left of the giant mounds. However, when I checked the forecast with Google SMS before leaving I saw that snow was forecasted for Monday. But. . they left out one minor detail. Boston is expected to get a foot of snow late tonight/Monday morning. Bah! Now I like snow and all. . but I was kinda hoping to get some errands done. Go to the pharmacy, buy food, maybe buy some pots for my plants so they have a place to live. . . I hate errands on Sunday 'cause the buses are so pathetic, but I also really don't want to be doing it in a foot of snow. Or after class Tuesday (I have class until 9, of course)
So yeah, that's life. Thank you everyone for a lovely time.
